What did you do to your Z this week?

Remember my new spoiler I had fitted last week at great expense? Took a chunk out of it this morning on the garage entrance. F@@@.

Yes, that's the only good point. Just incredibly frustrating after biting the bullet and getting it done at what must be North Yorkshire's most expensive body shop to ding it after less than a week. Stupid thing is, the car went into the garage no problem when it had no spoiler on, it never even crossed my mind that it might not after it had a spoiler on. Doh!

Lovely evening so headed off across the beautiful Pickering to Whitby road across the North York Moors. Haddock and chips in a sea view fish restaurant, followed by the obligatory Whitby Whalebones photo then back again at an...errrr...slightly enhanced speed

That's the biggest leather I've ever seen, must be a ****** to wring that out ...

Showed a bit of polish to my wheels in preparation for 'motors by the moat' Leeds Castle car show this Sunday ;)

at the same time replaced all the front wheel nuts with new ones from MrF, having discovered last week, that several were slightly too long, and thus the wheels were not perfectly secure on all 4 nuts

By the time you've finished this you'll have made a whole new chassis and shell!! Excellent work Derrick, but once it's done so well, will you even dare drive it?!

Cheers Red. I think my missus got the perfect angle to take the photo, those rear quarters have to be he most beautifully sculpted haunches of any sports coupe. Or any car, come to think of it!

Del you need to pull yer finger out mate, them wheel you got off me will be classics by the time you get the Z done, are you about bank holiday ?

Strictly speaking; Haven't done it to my Z yet but quite an exciting thing found on the front lawn when I got home from work!!! Now I just need to find a free day and a friend to assist! Didn't really need one, but the old one is a little scratched with fine scratches and I figured while I'm replacing the rubber, I may as well put in a new screen too!

Any advice, best practice, anything else to do while the old one is out or links to articles on this job most gratefully received!
