Hiya Paul, yes the o/s front catches the panel below the indicator, I think the wheel is a little further forward on that side after measuring with a tape, can it be adjusted back? Cheers
If the tension rod is slack it can make a couple of mm difference.
Wing/ bodywork can also be moved a little fore/aft.
Right there Sam,oops,Darren it can also depend on tyre choice, when I put the same tyres ( new ) on my image wheels one side rubbed ,they didn't on the wheels you just got off me and the new image wheels you see last week they don't touch, got yo get the other image wheels to Del ( candy red ) as he should have his 260 finished in a few months,as for the dropping ,get a set of springs and see how it drives, you ain't goner tear rose about in it so you don't need none of this expensive stuff like sum of us have,I would give the tension rod a look first
Really liking the colour of your car Jon
Good decision Red, much nicer.
Fairline, what make wheels are those and what's the size of them (and those tyres please)?
Thanks
I spruced up the Z's home - insulated the walls, put down a new floor, and put up some Z posters
Looking good!
If you want a proper cover for the car I can recommend the one from Classic Additions - Madda put me on to them and the cover fits great.

Ahh it was an IRL conversation I'm afraid - no thread!
The cover was this one:

And fits great.

What did I do today? I sat in it for the very first time!
Considering it's been in it's new home for 3 days that's pretty poor on my part. There's been a lot going on though.
The fact I've never even sat in a 240Z before means it was quite an occasion!
I'll start a proper thread, but here's the homecoming:
