Let's say I was done with the sticky SU throttle linkage (even though I improved it where I could). Additionally, I came up with an idea for a better diff mount which suits my driving style and doesn't increase cabin noise. ;)

Did a bit more work on the CV Subaru conversion, Took the new Subaru shaft all apart measured all the splines, found a drive that will work with a bit of modification, modified the design of the new outer drive coupling , to make it a bit longer , I can then machined it back if needed , & ordered up some steal to machine it up,

I’m liking the sound of this. Good work Gary.

do you generate your tool paths from solid works?

I was using Inventor , but now I'm using HSMWorks embedded into SolidWorks , its better than the CAM that comes built in, bit more user friendly and can do tropicordail paths etc

Started it up eventually, guess it doesn't like getting up in the mornings much like myself.

Took the airbox off to allow it to breath better and the damn thing spat the fuel back at me like I'd removed it's blanket.

Got the car to temperature and let it go back to sleep.

Any tips on removing the carbs? Was thinking of putting bulldog clips on the fuel lines and hanging them high to stop fuel leaking?

In the week I put a new battery on the 280 and fired her up first time in over 12 months :280Z:
Spent a few hours doing more tidying and got the engine prepped for lifting and putting into a stand, couldn't find the right lifting point bracket for the manifold side, so i modified a stray engine mount to do the job:S30:
Need to buy a stand now :D
