Finishing off my wiring project. Everything works fine so took the dash wiring out and tidied it up. This is half of it. The other half is connected to all the components in the glove box and the centre console, details to follow in a dedicated Thread. Note I have been able to reduce the number of multi-connectors to the front loom. Also there are no components now in the footwell.20210211_093441.jpg 20210210_170837.jpg

They quoted 170 but charged 150. Because my 280z belts have 2 retractors it was double (think it's £35+vat per retractor).

They didn't give me a certificate but I was recommended by a local restoration garage and plenty of excellent reviews on forums etc. They walked me through the process and certainly seemed to know what they were doing.

Forgotten just how time consuming putting things back together is. Basically took me the morning to put the LH rear strut back on, everything re connected obviously.

Oh man, I wish I had access to a metal 3D-printer! Nice work!

thanks Peter, luckily I work in a University so we have some pretty kool prototype kit that I get to play with , I couldn't stretch to nearly a million pounds for one though, but in time they will come down in price like plastic 3d printers have,

My technotoy tuning front strut brace arrived from the US. Was on back order.

Test fitted it and it doesn't clear my airbox, I knew it would be tight, so some modification will be required to it.

The quality is really ace.
I bent mine a little. Just a few degrees on both sides.

Yeah, they are crazy expensive!

I think as they get more common, firms will provide the service of printing your models. I think it's matter of time until more local metal workshops will get them.
