What classic/modern classic as a daily?

I'm due to get a polestar 2 as a company car, however I think there's a chance that the lease company has cocked up....

As I was walking the dog, I saw a nice w124/s124 estate go past, it got me thinking.... Daily classic, 8k a year, with cruise control.

It'd only do longer runs normally, what is there I should be thinking about?

Before moving to a Company Car I did similar- but split the year :

Summer car - Honda S2000
Winter car - Audi 4.2 V8 sport

Less than £10k outlay - great fun - almost recouped every penny when I sold them.

polestar have a long race history, basically the alpina/amg to bmw/merc, however they're only doing full EV now so have launched as a 'performance and prestige' range only.

I have an e39 petrol 530i touring, lovely straight 6 engine, never had a diesel.

Very practical and the petrol meets the current emissions requirement for London. No ULEZ or LEZ charge.

A few years ago, I had a 530i sport touring. lovely thing.

I don’t know Rob is the honest answer. Use to be 15k a year, however Covid has changed everything
