Samuri Gathering lll Donington Historic Festival May 2015

Think I might be in a smilar situation myself, as wife and Kid can't make it.
Tickets arrived yesterday.
So I have a spare for the Sunday and Monday

All that palaver isn't necessary though. Read earlier in the thread - PM Jonathan about the stand pass issue is he has some available and I presume can sort more. That is separately from the one you get during the official ticket ordering process.

See the post above yours Jake...

Sorry I think I was just having one of those days yesterday  All sorted now :) Thanks guys

Last call guys, ticket offer deadline offer closes tomorrow, and if anyone needs an additional pass I need to know by Sunday morning so I can let Karen know and get them to you next week. Chris Vega yours is in hand

And get your T Shirts ordered. Mine arrived today and it's a great souvenir.

If only Big Sam was racing!

Hello can you sort me out a stand pass please for Saturday & Sunday (sorry about the late reply)

if any one has missed the deadline John Peek has a spare ticket from his 2 for 1 ticket order.
It can be used for all 3 days or proportions of and believe Johnathan has stand passes available so like I say if you want this let me know to discus

Is this still available ?

Dave, I should have 2 infield passes on their way to me, one for Chris Vega and one as a back up for any late requests, so that ones got your name on it :)
Pm me your address and as soon as I get them, hopefully tomorrow, I will post it on.
That's them all gone though now!

Just had an update email from Donington now the ticket line is closed and Karen says

"Please find below the final numbers of cars for each day booked for your club.
We can’t accept further requests for infield passes now, as the stand space allocation is underway, based on the numbers we have from the bookings.
You have the following numbers of cars booked to attend:

Saturday: 28
Sunday: 35
Monday: 27

The only missing information is your stand number. These will be allocated over the next few days, and I will email that information you as soon as I have it."

I understand that we are not in the same location as last year and as soon as I have the plan I will let everyone know where we will be sited.

Looks like a good attendance again, and looking forward to seeing everyone next weekend.

Please, please, please, let us not be on that God-awful rubble-y surface at the top of the hill. Dusty and windswept.

Excellent numbers if attendance comes close to matching what is on paper.

Havent they got that surfaced Yet!!!!
I have a ticket availiable for the Sunday & Monday if anyone wants it,other wise it may go to waste.

More news, Simon Watts has told me that he wont be running the BlueZmobile due to engine problems, which is a real shame, but on the plus side Rob Crofton has also emailed to say he's been invited to run in the touring car race so we will still have a Z on one of the grids.

And Stewart Middleton will have his Sam on the rally stage I believe

That BlueZmobile is good when it's 'on song' but .... handles well.

Really chuffed that Rob and Stewart will be on track, we will be able to relate to those cars.

A couple of samuris (effing spell checker) won an award at the Tulip rally in Colchester this weekend and there is meant to be some pictures of it in the Colchester Gazette this week

I've got the car club site map now and it does look as though we are in a similar position to the first year, so a bit further to walk to the paddock, however Karen (the organiser) does tell me that the area adjacent to us is now grassed and will make a great new viewing area.

The maps is attached, hopefully so see you at the weekend
