How close is the camping & are the plenty of pitches?
I'm just trying to decide if I should come up for 1 or 2 days. It all depends on the camping.
What day will see most Z action or all days pretty equal?

Will be booking my ticket for the three days imminently. As I mentioned before, an extra infield pass would be useful for the family bus should they be in attendance at some point over the weekend!
 
Jake - There is pretty much equal Z activity every day, last year perhaps Monday was quietest, but it seems this year there should be as a many on the Monday too :thumbs:
As for the camping the site is right next to the Donington with direct access, have a look at this link

Andrew - I'm travelling down Friday again this year, and the only other driver from Scotland that I know of for definite is Al Douglas so maybe ask him when he's driving down? If you decide to come down Friday though let me know and we can meet up at Lancaster again maybe?

Richie - I'll sort you a pass no problem and if any one else other than the ones I know of need anything just let me know, cheers.

Update from Donington HQ - so far we have 22 cars booked for the weekend not all for all 3 days but should be a good attendance again :thumbs:
 
Hi guys, travelling down from East Lothian on Friday morning-ish, staying at the Yew Lodge in Kegworth. Tickets booked for Saturday Sunday and heading back Sunday evening. Friends joining us from the borders and going down in their Porsche but I'm buggered if I'm going in convoy with a tarted up Beatle!!!!

That's a pity as I am going down on the Sunday real early and returning late on the Monday :(

if any one has missed the deadline John Peek has a spare ticket from his 2 for 1 ticket order.
It can be used for all 3 days or proportions of and believe Johnathan has stand passes available so like I say if you want this let me know to discus
 
Why can you only buy tickets in 2's? :confused: I just went to order my 2 day ticket for sat & sun and found you can only buy tickets in multiples of 2. I don't want 2 tickets, I only want 1 as I'll be coming on my lonesome.

I only have ONE seat in my Z at the moment so..... :lol: I've just found if I don't apply for club discount I can buy 1 ticket for £33.60. I guess that's better than buying 2 discounted tickets at £43ish and wasting one ticket :rolleyes:

But you could get together with someone else get two tickets and Two infield passes and both get in for £21.50 each

The trouble with getting a discounted ticket for £33.60 is that you would have to try and get Jonathon to try and get you a infield pass
 
Jake the advance 2 day ticket costs £33.60 the same as the 2 day ticket for 1 person and you dont get an infield pass, which I will have to get for you, use the offer it's the same price and bring a pal he can always park his own car in the car park if he can't sit in your Z...? Just a thought.

TBH that would just be a total ball ache as it would mean trying to hook up with someone I don't know at or near the track in a sea of 10'000's of people & 1000's of cars to hand over ticket & pass :( That's not really my idea of a fun weekend. I just wanna show up, park up & chillout :( I'll figure out something :driving:
 
Jake, I feel the same as you about the ticket offer however I've 'teamed-up' with another member to share the cost. You may as well buy the two and try to sell the spare on the day. At Donington the general public park before buying a ticket so you stand a chance of 'off loading' it.

All that palaver isn't necessary though. Read earlier in the thread - PM Jonathan about the stand pass issue is he has some available and I presume can sort more. That is separately from the one you get during the official ticket ordering process.
