Samuri Gathering IV 2016

Wait until you try to get out of the car

I 'did' my back (muscles) when loading for Castle Combe one year - the tyres did it.

I could drive (including on-track) and it took my mind off it but getting out of the car was stupid. Even standing up straight - you don't realise how much you use your muscles for standing.

What bad fortune, I hope things improve JK. Tbh it will 'hang around' though.

I know, talk about timing....

I did a similar thing in France once on holiday, it's so annoying beside painful!!

Good news I get discharged from hospital today after nearly 3 week of a scar, can't wait to seer youu al sunday in the sam been snowing in west Yorkshire been gritting roads :(

Bring a bucket Christian! There's a tap near where our stand is sited. I'm also planning to hit up the jet wash on the way over to my parents at the end of each day if necessary for some underbody decontamination!

Aww sweet ill use jet wash it when I get home and ill bring a bucket can't bend right down as I just had a operation been in nearly 3 week with a ruptured vowel had 2 litre of infection drained out of me

Was that a ruptured A,E,I,O or U ?

You can't bend JK can't bend, must have a word with Spike to see if he can build a couple of Sams that can be driven standing up  :lol: would they be number 78 & 79 :D

have fun lads despite the weather - no better here if that helps....

Keep warm Jonathon - feet upwards.

So disappointed that we can't make it this year but hoping the weather improves for you all. Looking forward to seeing some pictures.
Have a great time.
Al.

Good turnout at around 20 cars. Weather was good in the morning, somewhat more "interesting" at times in the afternoon. E.g. Rain, hail, snow, all in the space of a few minutes. Then sun again. Then rain! Let's hope tomorrow is no worse!

Great day apart from stupid weather, sunny and very stormy.

I'll post some pics a bit later.

Very good turnout by Z owners, put other clubs to shame. Well done Jonathan!

The two Zs racing today were to be frank - disappointing. Samuri were said to be a 'man in a shed' well that man and that shed did a lot better than JD Classics.

Really good day though - hope it continues tomorrow.

A few pics.
