Hello!
Having owned a 240Z for over a year now I thought it was only right to join the infamous zclub.net forum.
For those that care, its a UK 73' Red (more like orange) RHD 240Z. The car was restored about 10 years ago and although it runs almost perfectly, it was stored in what I can only imagine was a pool of fresh salt water. The paint is bubbling in a few areas and there was a bit too much use of body filler for my liking.
The interior seems to be mostly untouched and you can tell. The seats are the cloth/leather type with the interior trim coming with a special optional extra - black duct tape. I imagine this was for weight saving.
I plan to enjoy the car as is during the summer but then look into a potential respray/restore when it gets colder. I adore my s30 and only makes me think why I didn't go for one sooner!
Look forward to tapping into your brains for some knowledge and knowhow, while hopefully being able to contribute something myself.
If anyone has any memory or information about the car from before that would be awesome.
Cheers,
Taj
