LakeZ 2013 28th,29th,30th JUNE

Apologies from me, bad day yesterday with staff so I need to be at work Saturday, soz guys, I'll see you Sunday :(

What a great night, I guess the format is getting pretty near to what we need now. Its one of the best weekends I have had so hope the rest of the guys enjoyed it as much. As ever there are so many anecdotes to share but I will let the others kick off first.

I would just like to say a massive thanks to Ben and Antonia from the Rose and Crown for their support over the weekend, the same to the committee of the hall for allowing us access and free camping, the band and David Kay for a great nights entertainment, the Spitting Pig Hogroast for some fantastic food, The photographers for their hard work in challenging conditions.

But most of all, the members who turned up up and shared in what has been a great weekend for Liz and I. I appreciate some people have traveled a long way to attend and hope the journey has been worth it. The event will be repeated next year although we may have to address the parking issue to fit everyone in.

Thanks again and I look forward to seeing you for the full english in the morning and then the judging a little later.

Thanks very much Martin and everyone involved for your hospitality and in making an excellent weekend. Hopefully next year I will have my Z up and running. Cheers

Thanks for a great weekend Martin, much appreciated. Service at the Rose and Crown, plus the hall was first rate. Good to see faces old and new. Looking forward to next year already !

Mark, Gill and Jay.

I had a great weekend so thanks to you all for turning up. off to find a quiet darkened room for some rest now.

Big thanks Martin for such a nice friendly week end
Nice to meet up with some not seen in a few years and a lot of new faces
The Friday night was one of the friendliest opening nights to an event I have been too with everybody no matter what car they owned all intermingling with each other
And best bit for me was did the whole weekend without using a stick once even if I had to take my left shoe off every time I got into Paul Wrangles car

Its always great to catch up Dad, look forward to seeing you again soon.

Some pics from Damian Hock the photographer have been added to the thread.

Thanks for organising weekend Fiona and I had great fun and cant wait till next year. Met some great people dont worry will bring plenty of tablets next year !!!!

Seems like you had a good time folks. I've been too busy with dad in hospital and also seeing my newly born grandson over the weekend.

Martin, I reckon the little silver car is a Mini-Jem.

Thanks Rob, try googling Kingfisher. It was a great weekend and to be honest I have to thank Derek for a good schooling in how to do a meet. I am looking forward to Zedfest when I can sit back and enjoy a great weekend. Hopefully this year I wont end up with a walking stick

Only 65 made and 35 still around I believe. A guy bought it and never got round to restoring it so Ben at the pub is working on it when he gets a rare few minutes free.

Settling back in to the daily grind here in Antigua, Thankz to Martin for arranging a great weekend. Will probably travel over from the land of sea and sun for lakeZ 2014...

Thanks again
Nigel
