Hi again having looked at your aerial map I don't see any access to the camping for our trailer tent can you confirm that I will be able to get it onto the camping field.
 
Looks like we may well be able to pop along for Sat!

Should be at a stag do, but they start drinking 6:30am down south so by the time I get there 6pm, it's gonna be a waste of a 4 hour each way trip!

We'll aim to arrive early Sat and join in with those heading to the steam train (allows dogs!).

Anyone else heading steam train direction on Saturday?

Will try to hang around for the band et al, but will be subject to the pup as we'll only have had him a week by then!
 
Ragtopzed here, myself and missus ragtop will be attending, we have booked a B&B and are arriiving Friday afternoon but would like to book into the pub for evening meals Saturday. Cheers.
 
Hi guys, sorry I have nbot been on earlier, juat travelled back from work. The camping is at the edge of the car park so no issues there. I will be around all day Friday and will keep an eye out for anyone arriving.

I will sort you a table out for Friday and Saturday but dont forget the hog roast at the hall from 6-30 on Saturday which is free.
 
Well looks like I will be in the Merc this weekend. Zed arrived back home today and after checking out wiring, sensors, fuel pressures, injectors, injectors cleaned, replacing connectors, re-setting timing belt......... it still stalls after warm up.

Engine actually runs nice and smooth before the stall and after the stall (with chts disconnected) - If we could just figure out the stall.........gutted.

I don't suppose anyone going to Lake Z has a spare working ecu that I could borrow or one for sale?

Thats bad luck Steve. You will still have a great weekend even if you are zedless. Also dont belive the weather forecast, its supposed to be raining tday but its glorious weather.
 
Just a reminder that if anyone wants to eat at the pub on Friday and have not let me know please pm me so I can book a table.
 
The pub will do either bacon or sausage rols or a full breakfast each morning but please pre order it the night before.
 
Martin slight change in timings as Paul is picking me up at 9 o'clock instead of the ungodly 7 am so will be they when we get there
certain I posted somewhere we would be eating at the pub on Friday in another list somewhere

I've just put the postcode into Google Maps to get an idea of journey time and it told me that the estimated fuel cost is £23.60! :eek:

I'd need to do 35.5 mpg!

There's no point driving to the Lakes and using motorways, so I may get half that! :driving::D.
 
Thanks for pointing out one benefit of not having my Z working, I should get a good 50+ mpg.......!
 
Hi Folks,
Last minute addition, we,ll be dropping by on the way back to antigua. should get down around lunch time or so Staying at lymehurst hotel in grange over sands. No zed as it's back in mothballs until next visit or someone decides to buy it... Will be at the pig cook out saturday night the rest we will work out as the 2 year old allows!!!
hope this is not too late an intrusion...

What a great night catching up with friends old and new. I just wish I could get to sleep as the pub across the road seems to be very busy tonight,
