What about the cars that were modified after Spike sold Samuri........ before he "departed" for spain, they were done under the "samuri' name (bills of sale from Samuri are available from several sources) so logically they are also Samuri's

I find it confusing how he sold up, went to Spain, the name carried on without him, now he claims exclusivity, someone please help me understand this better, did he go to Spain for his health, is Spain the capital of trumpet playing?????
There must be a simple explanation

That's wot mine was Steve,still have bill of sale from Kevin irons,is it or wad it a spammy,not that I'm bothered either way

Oh well, in that case, I still have a receipt from Samuri for bits on my grren Z along with the original, metal Samuri spoiler pre-fitted.

I owned a Samuri !

Was up for sale near La Rochelle as a 'project' car late last year - I have no news of it since.

Well bidding only reached £10,000 on ebay when the auction ended because it is 'no longer for sale'? Looks like it is still for sale on Muir Garage's own website at £35,000.

Why?

I don't know the car but it looks really good in the pictures. Compare it to the rust bucket 260z that went for over 12k recently. Surely this is a mid to high teen car.

Well there s the rub
Seller thinks its a £35k car
Buyers at the moment of sale thought it is a £10k+ car

Aaargh, too many Zed's in one post. Sorry I assumed that Johny was referring to the Samuri and not the Irish 240z.:eek:

On a side note if the Samuri made 30k, then are we saying that the "brand name" carries some desirability? I mean comparing to the white one which hit 25k...or is red a premium colour? :lol:

Not quite Steve, eBay bids were up to around £10k when it was pulled but the auction still had a week to run too....and it still had a reserve to meet.

To summarise for The Lost

Cars reported as sold recently :-

Red 260 Sam (the car this thread is about) - reported by RedBaron as sold at Over 30k

Blue 240z with arches in Eire - Sold on eBay for 17k

Black 260z on eBay - asking 22k now stating Deposit taken




Oh and plus !! It appears that several, Nay numerous, members have receipts/parts in their possession that came from Samuri, in all its various guises ;)
