Rare 'Samuri' part. Valuation?

Just the bare alleged basics

There was a company called
Samuri Conversions Ltd
It was run by Spike Anderson
Kevin Irons joins company as partner
Spike Anderson emigrates to Spain leaving company in a not good position because, in his words, the naughty Tax man kept coming round his house
Kevin Irons carries on with the company
Kevin Irons stops trading as company
10 ish years down the line Spike Anderson gets 3 cars done by others for other people

I'm a shareholder in Samuri Conversions LTD, so does that mean my company Land Rover and my wifes DS3 can all be called Samuri too, hers is even a two tone colour scheme....?

".....In order to put the record straight and at the same time protect the value of genuine Samuri’s Spike Anderson has published his biography which lays down the history of Samuri, including the dates and specifications of the vehicles he produced...."

What about Race Head Services - any cars converted then - I suppose so ?

Nope, you have all lost me on this one. You can carry on without me... I am still none the wiser as to how much the part in the original question is worth, I guess no one knows, or dare not say.

I think that we can say confidently that, rounded up to the nearest £100 as requested, this part is worth £100.

Ah, but that's without the 'Letter From Spike' though isn't it?
IF you haven't the letter, mail or SMS, how can you be SURE that it is the pukka part.....as stated in the first post ?

Don't forget, only the true messiah would deny his own divinity......

Aaah, but you see I have the all-important provenance. A dossier of unimpeachable evidence. It's all right here.

I asked that :

Then Kristian (Mambofever) should get a list together.....he (they) might even be able to produce a no. 78.......;)

I have no desire to make any Sams myself. No need as more keep appearing in the wild

I have a list with the different Samuri specs at home, I can post it later tonight.

As far as my dad is concerned if you have a car to these specs with receipts from Samuri conversions in any guise, it's a Sam.

I don't know anything about all that, and I have no opinion on it all.

I was living abroad at the time.

Which time - be specific - it all helps to know from...'til !;)

I bought parts from Kevin back in early '91 trading under Samuri Conversions - I still have them - maybe I ought to stick 'em up on ebay with the invoice ! Might pay for our summer holiday....

Yeah, I bought the book too.:p

:D

Yes please.

:driving: Sounds fair and correct to me : perhaps Mr Burns could produce a closed access Samuri register here on this forum using this list and Samuri.eu as a starting base to be updated as and when with active searching for those cars disappeared/unknown owners and maybe even contact each stated owner to see if they still have it and if not note the new owner ,

Seems a responsable action for cars whose prices are high....and might stimulate more though towards a general register (or not) ?

It looks like a piece of junk to me. If it was in my garage I'd put it in the bin. Perhaps the only you will find its true value is float it up on ebay and see if anyone is prepared to pay money for a rusty metal bar
