At Le Mans 24hrs they had large screens showing football at circuit so hope same at Classic.

My main wing men Jake and Tim are not into football so glad to see some other ‘real men’ or ‘misguided fools’ in the Club will also be looking for a screen to share the emotional roller coaster of watching the England football team

3pm Saturday, be there or be a circle.

There has been a lot of controversy here as some matches weren't broadcast on reguler (free) television meaning that diffusion rights are strictly protected for €€€sss reasons. A bar or hotel (château ?) will get away with it but a huge public screen at Le Mans....I doubt it !

Why bother coming to Le Mans at all ? The football can be recored and is also available on replay.
I’m there from Thursday afternoon until Monday morning, so loads of time to enjoy the weekend, but for 90 minutes on Saturday I want to watch the World Cup...!! It’s coming home...ha ha #threelions ;)

(almost) the best LM24 hrs I ever did was in '96 when after the hot, sunny race they screened the Canadien GP in the village and we drowned ourselves in cold beer watching from the shade.....that was the first and last time Mr Ecclestone allowed that I believe.

I remember one of the years I went we watched football on the Sunday eve in Arnage village. It was a Final of some kind Euros?

I'm not a big football fan but I do like the important games - like millions of others. I watch GP racing too and wonder why sometimes.

Enjoy yourselves folks.

One big memory of camping at Le Mans - the ground is like concrete so tent pegs don't penetrate it. Aluminium ones are useless.

Get yourselves down to Tetre Rouge for the first lap of the fast boys:

Did you see the 240Z at the back?

6" nails Rob - I think I remember passing that tip on !

Rob Crofton has changed his diff ration from 2016 when he was in 5th just leaving Tertre Rouge so should fly a little faster this year.LMClassic 2018.jpg PART_1530815371928.jpg 001 (2).JPG
