Fwiw, Here’s a plus code that I think is pretty much where Club Datsun-France is. (Based on Sean’s map)

Whether any sat nav will be compatible with the way the authorities want to route the roads remains to be seen!

Would the road closures effect us trying to get to the z stand or those that are arriving to camp in that day ?

The road closure will affect those trying to get to and from the stand (and camping site 'cos it's the same access) on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday moring it'll be chokka and if you go the other way around (between the grandstand and the aerodrome) it'll be the same chokka !

Not sure I understand, you follow the deviation like everybody else.

The advantage of camping where WE are, ie very close to the circuit, is no entry traffic jams and being able to walk/cycle to the stand if wished ! Do you remember how easy it was back in 2006 and 2008 when you were with us ?

why are there road closures anyway Sean
because the full race circuit uses public roads.

Yeah I remember that so there must be a back way in or we can’t get there then which will be a bummer,I thought the road closures you were on about were where we were last time, will have to think of something

Yo're complicating things Paul.

There are two ways in :

1) drive down between the stands and aerodrome, turn left at the roundabout and drive under the circuit.

2) drive down towards Mulsanne then follow my plan 'secondaire' which avoids the only road closed which might affect you and drive under the beginning of the Hunardieres Straight towards the MMArena.

In any case, always follw the 'pink/rose' entrance signs !

Normally ok but beware - hot, very hot so :

Wear a hat (even if you do have hair)
Sunglasses - there are lots of white trim, sand etc at LM
Suncream for bits that don't normally see the sun - this'll be their first expostion this year so prudence - if you're wearing a cap, think of your ears, back of neck, nose etc...
Water - drink plenty and often
Food - think fruit (apples), proteins - easy on the stodge and sugar.
Comfortable shoes/sandles - you might be walking a fair bit along the track.

Le Mans is an endurance not only for the cars and drivers but us too !

You will - only +20 yrs experience there - normally a breeze so you feel cool but your body suffers.

Who's got track time Friday morning, series 2 - 9.35am?
Anyone know if we need to arrive at a fixed period before hand or can we just rock up at 9.30?
Anyone know if they send out a mixed group of cars or will it be cars of a similar performance/type?

Tents, sleeping bags, clothes, passport etc are packed and ready to load. I think I've got my car ready & sorted, a bit late if I haven't I guess. A A big thanks to Jon Billing for helping me get the lack of fuel at the carbs issue sorted
Arriving at Chateau De Chanteloup around 6pm Thursday. First on site get the beers chilled ready please :p
Safe & pleasant journey folks :driving:See you at the track :driving:

Why are you asking "if anyone'' ?

Why not just ask 'Mum' ?

Every Z is in the same track session which is made up from several clubs and individual owners so a real mix of cars and talents as usual meaning beware - some have never been on a track before.

Turn up direct to the pre-grid area which is into the circuit towards the paddocks/village/stand, under the tunnel and turn right and along 50-100m before turning right into the Bugatti circuit and on towards the right towards the pre-grid area.

Be aware that the Saturday morning will be busy with people coming from all over and not just for the track sessions - leave yourselves plenty of time !!!
