I'm thinking this thread is providing evidence that Z's are old men's cars!!!!!!
It doesn't matter what age you "were" when you bought a Z all those years ago. By today's standards we are mostly middle aged or older! An MGB or MG TF or TR4 etc were all once bought by young men too.
For me the real test of the Z not being an old man's car is when I accelerate down the road or park her, it's always the young guys (4 to 20ish) who look over admiringly or rush over and say "that's a lovely car, what is it!?"
That never happens in my father in law's spanking TR 4 or my mate's concourse MGB GT & Jag XK120. It's always the older men with grey hair who come over to admire those.
Just sayin'!
