53 and had a zed for about 20 years now.Started off with a 280zx then a 260 then bought a 240 in 2005,have recently purchased another 240 to restore.My son is 17 and loves them got his eyes on the second one that I bought.
So no you defiantly haven't bought an old mans car,the youngsters love them.

Well I don't think its a old mans car at all , it was always gonna be a gamble leaving a era of car I know well from my old skyline and Mkiv supra to a old classic but really am looking forward to getting my hands dirty on this one.

Already had to get the alternator and voltage regulator off tonight to get them tested and it's coilovers next I think .

So not a old mans car just one that is for a certain class of person .

I got my 240z when I was 25. I'm 51 now and have just bought a 260z. Man I feel old some days but my new Z makes me feel 25 again hehehe :hurray:

43 going on 20...
Had the dream since I got the toy 73(?) safari,age 5...
Owned half dozen 280's and a 260 last 20 years...
Currently own 2 z31 and 1 z32 300zx...
Looking at a 2+2 260 to restore
Helping best mate find and about to recover and restore (barn stored 280's!?!) 71 240z
Planning on my own 240 soon;)

I don't know where my little obsession has come from really, wish I knew though . Probably started from japanese car sites on Facebook and Instagram .

I'm 28 now but got my 260z 2+2 when I was 25.

Started saving for one when I was 19 though.

My dad's best mate has a picture of his 240Z on the wall of his house still from when I was a baby and I always loved it.

In fact it was him and the 240z that turned me into a car nut from the start!

45 but I got my first Zed when I 25 and I have not been with out one since but I am on my about my seventh I think and hopefully last one.

44, got my Z when i was 26, remember seeing the odd one out and about when i was having my driving lessons at 17!
From that point on, always wanted one, they are IMO just stunning to look at and drive:rofl:
Only ever had the one Z car, and will always keep it, would like another though, 280ZX Targa would be nice ;)

So the basic trend here is that many members, regardless of present age, got their Zs in their 20s - and have remained hooked ever since. So definitely not an old man's car...

I agree ^^^ quite surprising ain't it , can't imagine keeping the car till I'm in my 40's but HEY.... Never know.

I've just worked it out and I bought mine six weeks before my thirtieth birthday so I also followed that trend! :D
