Well managed to peel the spot welded section of more rust has crept in between spot welded joints make me wonder how many more cars are like this that nobody knows it there until stripped back like this :unsure:

Now all cleaned up ready to make new repair piece and weld in EXTRA:)

Now welded in just needs a bit of grinding and tidying up :EXTRAconfused:

Now ground down couple of pin holes to weld up oval pretty happy no more rust there and really sold

Small update made this flange piece to weld onto donor panel

now welded on really solid and now rust free
