Not sure about the great job ,but progress is steady ;)
All about perspective, if you compare it to a top level oldschool restoration shop then their work may seem better. But for someone doing this as a hobby when they can find the time in a home garage and who isn't doing this work all day every day you definitely are doing a great job an you will still end up with a very nice result that you can be proud of as you did it all yourself.



And no joke, if you see the metal work that some regular non restoration body shops do for their repairs your looks amazing.

Well thought it was about time I tackled this repair must admit it’s been a bit of a stumbling block looked at it more than once and walked away :conf2:
But now I’m on it :)

:smash::willynilly::smash::willynilly:1F3BE752-12FA-4960-AE64-DB45A126AA2B.jpeg Nearly welded in just need to spot weld from lip to firewall and weld the edges might be pain doing this repair but once all done I know there will be no rust hiding in these seams ;):D 6BB2BBF8-BCD5-4802-9991-12E59654E2DD.jpeg A bit more tidying up of the welds but overall pretty happy :smash::unsure:
