When I sed power it was there as soon as you put yer foot down,just like my 3.1 striker,I see Ian on Saturday and his rebellious powered Zed gives rather well,and at least he has hair

Got it Sean :thumbs: Your going for the 1st Tesla powered Z :D imagine the acceleration if the top spec battery pack was fitted as it propels a Tesla to 60 in 2.5 seconds :eek:
You will also be gaining the very large boot space up front :D
But please don't paint it ginger as that would spoil the whole concept.

You know, I wonder if that kind of thing will happen in the future - classics with electric power units...?

I think it will & probably quite soon, the way the electric powered cars are moving forward is truly amazing & would say Tesla is at top of the game. Their latest 4 door saloon model is claimed to be faster than any super car on the road.

Forget your 3.1 strokers with throttle bodies, Tesla washing machine motors will trounce you :lol:

The 260Z 2+2 is certainly a far better looking car than an E Type 2+2.

The ugly duckling E Type 2+2 has now shot up in value :confused: can't really see the same happening with the 260Z 2+2 even though we have chopped virtually everyone of them up hence making them extremely rare.

So wots happened with that old spunker of yours then,spill the beans,that's wot you say to everyone else who is doing Zed stuff,has it rotted out after all that hype ? Has the engine exploded ?hope you ain't gonner change the colour cos I quite liked that old E-type colour,suited it,light colours suit as they show off the lines,my latest Z is the same colour as the BMW M3 yellow,as for the electric cars I think they will be good fun to drive,will they put your electricity bill up by much when we charge them at home ?

No, but as you well know, the 2+2 variant sells for nothing like the two-seater so an unfair comparison to list the price of a 240 against a 260 2+2.

I think we could be in for a shock regarding 2+2 prices soon,don't think they will be too far behind the coupe,there has been some really nice examples and if they catch on then we could be surprised and I think they might be more rare than the more desirable late 2 seater as we rarely see them come up for sale unlike the more common 240z

Modified 240Z against a standard 260Z 2+2 ? I think it's fair - for how much should a clean, stock 2+2 sell then ?

I reckon there won't be much difference in a well sorted 260 estate as there has been some really nice ones come out of the woodwork

I don't believe that investor types are buying Zs but prices are up because :

buyers are prepared to pay for QUALITY cars and those cars have been sadly missing from the scene and especially the market and therefore not in the public's and press' eyes who've seen what ? Import projects and LHD, some V8 swaps, certain promising cars but which on the market so presumably been seen and disappointed......!

So wot happened with the so called bees an EE's engine you said was the nuts in not so many ways and wot body mods ? Rust being done away with ? Not another orange one,the colour I was always gonner go for,still love it,I ain't got a camera and I'm not all that at loading stuff onto my iPad and not really interested in learning but will one day if someone shows me,computers not my thing,boring but give me a guitar and that's different
