A couple or three members might want to look up to the skies above them.

The Irony Blimp is pretty quiet, but it's there nonetheless....
Well you probably have a better view of it from your heavenly throne, looking down on both it and the members of this forum!

You missed The Irony Blimp too by the looks of it.

By definition, it hasn't been 'restored'. It's a custom car.

HTH.

Irony blimp Albrecht ? Your superior intellect has lost me there  If you've finished with Riddler now ;)

Steering wheel that would sit better on a Bentley or old man Jag saloon is irony ? Ha Ha very funny, missed that one :)

Surely any car that does not comprise completely factory original steel and has been welded, replacement panels, re-painted etc is classed as ' restored ' regardless of whether it is a ' custom ' car or not.

Don't make me laugh:rolleyes:, THAT's the magic figure any classic-car mag quotes now - £25k !

The same figure for any well-presented 240Z no matter what the spec, shape, creed or colour....:D

You can buy the car for just about that figure, that's all that will be going in the owners pocket max. after dealer takes his cut, what's your point ?

Oh dear. The Irony Blimp seems to have passed over your house without being detected too...

Shall I let you into a little secret? Keep it between you and me, but datsfun and Sean Dezart might actually be being rather sarcastic in their appraisals of the yellow car. It's not just the lovely steering wheel. The clues are there in their posts if you have even an average intellect (like mine...), but you have to know a little bit about these cars and the stories surrounding them, and you need to have a pinch of good taste too. Those two points might trip you up, but go back and have another look and see if you might have missed something.

I think you might like to remind yourself of the definition of the word 'restored'.

My point is every mag and therefore every buyer won't put more than £25k into a 240Z for now - before it was £18, before that £10.....when will it realistically represent the real value of a (real) restoration which is far and above £30k ,

I think Clarkeson might love this one - the steering whel was made for him.
