240Z blanche £23k

I've also taken the 'nitpicking' reference as high praise considering where it's come from.

"....from where it's come" - you're still learning ;) !

I'd have thought that a minor detail or two might be corrected during the sale - I hardly think that they're 'bargaining points but that's is obviously my own personal opinion forged (not cast:rolleyes:) with a few years experience of being both sides of the adverts.

'been done before" doesn't necessarily imply to be undertaken every time on every car.....but it might:D !

Yes a great car and it appears to be priced to sell (even quicker on the continent I guess).

Pete, I agree with you.

Sean you are inconsistent with your criticism of detail but not of people's comment.

IMO detail like the trim creasing is not as obvious 'in the flesh' but it stands out in close-up photos. I know from experience when advertising stuff on ebay. That photo would have been best left out of the advert.

Thanks for the grammar lesson, or is that a lesson in grammar. I think you'll find my level of grammar to be 'correct' in all instances, anyone making mistakes that I wouldn't being a bit thick, anyone correcting my grammar being a pedantic ****.

Rob - I never got the chance and whilst we're at it, Alan neither, Pete beat us to it and besides, I hate being predictable.:D

I'm certainly not defending that small detail.....but if that's the worst that this site can come up with - it's the best car advertised this year wouldn't you say ?

Looks nice from the pics. Arches have been rolled to accommodate the wheels/tyres?

Where are the side mirrors attached to? Never seen ones like that before..

To accommodate said on lowered suspension.

To the s-steel window frames keeps the wing and door line more pure and are genuine c/f for those that dig that.

Does look like the arches have been rolled. Shouldn't really need it with the 15x8s as long as one doesn't go too big with the tyre while lowering. Gives you a bit more freedom to slam if wanted though!

I think its a great car for the money. It's a steal compared to some of the others offered around that price point and above, with far better detail than many. The underside looks excellent. That wrinkled vinyl could be sorted very easily with a bit of care and a can of spray adhesive.

Worth noting that some people have experienced the vinyl expanding and shrinking depending on weather/season. I was watching a Youtube video recently of a guy in the US who had the original vinyl in his 74 260Z - during the winter months it developed pronounced wrinkles, which disappeared during the warmer months.

That’s a really nice clean lines car, no fuss, well executed, and would love a look around it even if I don't have the money to buy it.

I agree nice touch, looks to have a flitch plate type arrangement mounted into the corner of the door frame....on closer inspection it does look like it mounts directly to the SS glass frame....interesting

Interesting to know Sean, thanks.

No need to underline the lowered bit though, it's not like the rolled arches are necessary for lowered suspension. Wasn't pointing it out for negativity, just another bit of info to the car. As Rich says, gives you more freedom if you wanna get low or fit a slightly wider wheel.

Seems to be real positive comments on this car. If it stands up to these comments in real life, which I would expect, looks like a great car to buy. Best of luck with the sale

Looks nice, I'd be using the tunnel trim as a barganing point on the price, which looks fair.
Pic 3 looks like its snoring

If I was looking to get another Z for that sort of money that would be one I would be hard pressed not to buy

Datsfun - stay with your 4-seaters and remain king in your domain rather than a squire in ours.

PMSL - I had a blonde moment and cocked up . Posts # 13, 14. 15 refer and was put back on track straight away. Thanks

That is a very loose and equally bold statement to make innit ?

What are your views on this then as a comparator ..

There was also a very nice white 240 that sold recently ( restored to show standards by owner somewhere in Midlands)

Yep - I like 'bald' statements:D !

Way different price of course and if it was my choice, I'd go for the white L28 one with a decent box and suspension as it's more a driver's car than a wrap-up and store for later !

Anyway, that orange one is **** isn't it - it has wrinkly transmission tunnel trim :lol:

I think it's a bargain at that sort of price.

What is show standard anyway? If it's polished everything and plastic trophys they can keep them.

Very nice car.

Arches - to roll or not to roll. Seams a shame to roll original factory, untouched arches but if you don't then they will rub on a moderately lowered car with reasonably wide wheels. Unless you stiffen the suspension up so you severely limit the travel.

Well there you are - different opinions.....!

I agree 100% Steve, if this would've been around when I was looking I'd've been very tempted indeed, lovely car, wrinkly trim aside :):driving:

I have had the pleasure of seeing this car in the flesh and if my new garage was up now instead of next year this car would be in it ! Its gorgeous !
