What did you do to your Z this week?

I think he was asking about Fairlineguy's wheels, Paul. In which case I would hazard at guess at Turbo-vec?

They are Rotas size ,7x16,,any issues on rubbing Darren ? Needs to be lowered about an inch and half but looks cool

Hiya Paul, yes the o/s front catches the panel below the indicator, I think the wheel is a little further forward on that side after measuring with a tape, can it be adjusted back? Cheers

Also I agree it needs dropping, can I just do that with springs or do I need shocks too?

If the tension rod is slack it can make a couple of mm difference.
Wing/ bodywork can also be moved a little fore/aft.

Really liking the colour of your car Jon

Right there Sam,oops,Darren it can also depend on tyre choice, when I put the same tyres ( new ) on my image wheels one side rubbed ,they didn't on the wheels you just got off me and the new image wheels you see last week they don't touch, got yo get the other image wheels to Del ( candy red ) as he should have his 260 finished in a few months,as for the dropping ,get a set of springs and see how it drives, you ain't goner tear rose about in it so you don't need none of this expensive stuff like sum of us have,I would give the tension rod a look first

Cheers Paul I'll look at that and just get some springs, any recommendations?

Thanks Toopy, it looks different in every light which I quite like from reddish to burnt amber to bright metallic orange. Be better once she gets sorted at the body shop as well.

I spruced up the Z's home - insulated the walls, put down a new floor, and put up some Z posters :)

Looking good!

If you want a proper cover for the car I can recommend the one from Classic Additions - Madda put me on to them and the cover fits great.

Thanks for that, I am looking for a cover! :)

I read a few old threads on here about them and I was tempted to try the medium size Halfords but I'll check out one from Classic Additions. Which one did you go for and can you point me towards that thread?

What did I do today? I sat in it for the very first time!

Considering it's been in it's new home for 3 days that's pretty poor on my part. There's been a lot going on though.

The fact I've never even sat in a 240Z before means it was quite an occasion!

I'll start a proper thread, but here's the homecoming:

Looks nice, love the wheels

Re-fitted my wrap around spoiler indicators, after swapping the orange lense's for clear ones

Spent 20 mins struggling to fit the first one, then realised it was the one for the other side! Doh.... was getting very vexed
