What did you do to your Z this week?

Got respect for anyone who goes out on two wheels these days

'I'd rather stab myself repeatedly in the arm with a blunt fork than dress up like a power ranger and listen to meatloaf....'

With you on the power ranger thing but Meatloaf's not too bad

I took mine to Manchester for work this week. I got a spare wheel well full of water but it did do 31mpg. It's a bit sad to be excited about that I know.

Come on spill the beans or should that be water
What is involved in running a Z with water is it more environmentally friendly than petrol

A few litres of water next to the fuel tank certainly seems to help with economy.

That silver Suzuki was much safer before you put it back together, Dave. Now it wants to kill you, In a very messy way....

I made a throttle position sensor for my carbs today.
I've been guessing at which progression holes are active @ cruise for months and getting it wrong.
So this and the arduino are going to tell me exactly where the throttle plate is in relation to the progression holes as I drive around.

I'm just about to do the same thing, CBT, although I'm going for slightly less power and getting a Lammy again as a project for the winter - it will give me something to do until the next car project anyway

This was my last one which I sold in about 2002

Good luck with CBT JK. There's not much to it really, although a couple of guys I was with the instructor refused to issue them a certificate. Said they had no road sense! They were only 17 or something, but the look of disappointed was a picture to cherish.. haha. Bless em..

That's a nice Lammy there.. Have we seen it before next to a matching colours VW camper? I'm sure there's a thread with a Camper & Lammy somewhere on the site, looked very nice too, striking.

In about 1976 a mate and I spied one of these - was a 200cc one I think - 1966 - D reg - in a guy's garage further down our road. I had a word with my dad and I offered him £5 for it. He said if I could increase that to £10 it was mine. Sadly I couldn't!

We used to ride these on the fields when I was about 15 ... they were knackered and nobody wanted them - you could get them for nothing virtually, how's times have changed.

Aye, those were the days Fastback... Used to head to the woods on a Fizzy, trade cigarettes with my mates to let them ride it.. Chin to the handle bar for that all important mph.. Happy dayz.. feel sorry for the kids of today. My first bike was a knackered Puch Maxi of which I stole from a garden.. I've since modified my ways.. lol
