Zeds for sale

Maybe nobody on here knows? You could message the seller of the more expensive one and ask why it's worth £20k more than the other one?

I’m asking the experts if they know why it might be worth that much more my opinion is irelevant, why ask?
Just seems a big gap on asking prices

C’mon guys... for starters .

Datsun 240Z Super Samuri 1972
Number 41 of the 90 Super Samuri builds .

Clearly the first is more exclusive looking at the numbers .

:conf2:

No reason really that’s why it’s not important to me but the question is why such a big gap in asking price for the two cars in question, perhaps no reason maybe someone trying their luck asking for that sort of money, still no one can come up with a reason,oh well I’ll leave it at that

Somebody had spent a lot on the white one over 5 years, likely trying to get some money back, RB26 with if true low miles are not cheap today

That white one is nice one of the best colours I think for a Zed but no one seems to have an idea as to why two similar cars are 20 k apart in asking price, someone on here usually pipes up with an answer

Think the white car went for 43 k Robbie which proves a well sorted example will command decent money sometimes but not always which is another reason to sell a car that’s finnished rather than try and sell for good money stating it only needs this and that to Finnish and it’ll be worth X,how many times do we see this but back to the original question

Couple of Zeds on flea bay if anyone is looking,a 2+2 which seemsgood money as they are quite rare nowdays and two 240Zs one is about twenty K more expensive, any reason for that ?
The reason for the £20k difference is that they're being sold by two different people.

So no one can come up with a sensible answer, sounds about right,I’ll go back to being a silly Billy ,The experts still to come out of their holes with an answer,Wot about the red 2+2 that looks to be sensible money

Simple answer to the price difference....one is totally restored and described as "utterly sensational ". The other one is unrestored and described as "presentable". How much would it take to get the lesser one up to the standard of the restored example?

Can’t really say without looking in the flesh which surprises me the usual suspects haven’t picked fault with either of them but both commanding strong money

Status you are a bit obsessive about this.

Aren't you the one that criticizes people for being picky?

Well for £58,995 I would expect to have a cowl rubber and seat mechanism covers or are they missing to shave weight?!! The £37,000 one needs a new front indicator lens for a start ! shoddy advertising, there is a £59,000 samuri on car and classic with race history? Is this one known?
