Never said it would be easy !
"
It aint all that difficult, we never had so much model choice and the imported models could be dealt with on a seperate list !

I'm sure that I've forgotten some and you
will correct me but you get the gist !
Next, condition categories (with explanations at the bottom of the page, guided by an asterix) that determine how a car should be classed) :
concours (enjoy it)
excellent (turn the key and go - underneath is clean)
very good (some finishing required - underneath is clean)
Note : All cars above this point are mechanically correct and clean underneath !
good (finishing required, panels/paintwork, perhaps some mechanical work too but car is driveable)
average (major work necessary including some or all of the following : chassis repairs/re-trim/re-paint/mechanical rebuild
below average (total rebuild if chassis no./rarity warrants or break for parts)
salvage (for parts only)
There will be some exceptions - it should be stated that more emphasis is placed on correct bodywork (especially underneath) than on a clean interior/new paintwork/overhauled engine !
Of course, it should be said that all prices are speculative until the car is officially valued by the club for only 30 (35 ?) quid (insurance officers' contact details supplied), cheap at the price with club membership thrown in
Car would be given a time elapsed ref. number that could be quoted in ads/articles etc to avoid Joe Dough looking on our site and claiming XXX value - as confirmed by The Z Club when nobody has ever seen the car !
Let's face it, if The Z Club can't sort something out, and even if it is a general guide to most models, no-one else can ! We should be seen to be THE definitive place of knowledge in the UK on these cars - a price reference should be part of that !
So, what do you think ?
