'cos the Z32 was a 'basic' model ?
Might have to p*** you off here and ask how many Z32 cabrios there are in the UK and whether ALL the 'fringe' imports can be included in a guide that would be aimed at giving a general price idea ! If it's for two cars that are in the country, all I could do is include them and say 'pay what you feel' !
Solution offered in good humour !
Taken in good humour too, but accepting the Cabrio is rare in the UK, it is nontheless a core version of the Z32 range just like the slick top and the Targa. The lack of a solid roof is not an "accessory" and is IMHO a base model in the range and a limited production special to boot!!
. There are more than a couple in the country - how many I dont know but would be very interested to find out - but certainly they are in a minority. As for value, most things including these great cars, are only worth what you are willing to pay. The rareity value of the model will dictate the perceived value in the marketplace and the current reality is that a Cabrio will fetch significantly more than the equivalent tin top versions. Just do a search on Autotrader and see! Since any value assessment you wish to make in your book will have to recognise the current market place rates (albeit asking rates) unless you get positive feedback from real buyers on what they actually paid, would it not be a fruitless task?
