Wheels again....

Yes, 4x114.3 - careful of Ford fitment wheels as they use 4x108 and look pretty close!

Also the standard studs are M12x1.25 in case you need new lug nuts

I just picked up some of those RKRs,

Hi JK
Finally took the plunge and yesterday ordered 4 x Konig rewind wheels with a graphite grey centre and polished lip.
Sizes are 15" x 7" with 0mm offset PDC 114.3 will get them fitted with 205/65 profile tyres.
Did look at the compomotive ML wheels but just too damm heavy the konigs are 2.9kg lighter per wheel. They are also only £450 delivered.
Got to wait 6weeks though!
Cheers
Andrew:cheers:

Nice one Andy, sounds like good value for money. The Enkies I've got too are 15 x 7 and Ive bought a set of 205/60/15's to fit once they've had the centres painted - we will both look the dogs this summer :D

Yeah think I will order a set of these too before I fit my wheels, anyone recommend a supplier, Mr. F ??.

You need to find out what sort of lug nuts you need; tapered lug nuts are angled on the inboard side to hold the wheel tight. If so, they usually use a 45 or 60 degree angle, make sure you get the right ones! Also known as 'tuner' nuts.

Also, I don't think it's been mentioned here but the centre hub bore of the wheels needs to be 73mm, a lot of wheels use a 67mm bore and they will not fit on S30 front hubs unless you use spacers to move them away from the spindle housing.

Thanks Morbias, I'll check when the wheels come back but from the picture I took before I sent them off, I'd guess they'll be the flat type...?

Nice, make sure you post some pics, it will make a change from the usual gold/bronze :)

Check out 'Grayston' for the biggest selection of Wheel nuts & related stuff in the UK - they prefer to sell through the Trade, but no doubt you will find the correct Nuts for those wheels listed.

Thanks Duncan - better still if I get 'em trade through work :D

Still waiting for my wheels to come back, hopefully early next week....

But in the meantime, work has started on a few other bits, new bonnet hinges going on as the ones I had where broken and so had no spring, Jeff from Southport kindly donated one last year

Also freshly refurbished fuel tank recently purchased from Pmac has been fitted now too and the wilwood calipers will be on in time for the wheels coming back.

I wish I had access to facilities like that

What polish did you use on the tank ;)

Thought I was looking at Big Sam at first.

Tank looks really nice. Someday I should really look at changing the custom (but only 35L) tank on my car for an OEM one. It would be nicer to have more range. Too much else to spend money on before that though!

Thanks Guys - yeah great having the workshops facilities, it's just fitting it in around all the real work thats always tricky...
