Wheels again....

Rich, no the tank was good but not quite that good, this is how I got it from Pete.

Ian, originally sealing inside was planned POR or something similar, but after closer inspection and several chats over pro's and cons of various sealing products it's not been treated inside, no.

And Mark, Cr@ppy Land Rovers pay for my Sam :D Where do you work?

First view of the new wheels on the car, just waiting for some nuts now (its currently on with some old Suzuki vitara nuts :D)

Personally I think they are bloody lovely

Thanks Dave - I'm not sure, have tried to find some on t'web unsuccessfully. Ideas welcome??

Amazing how the white rims pull the pinstripes to the eye love the clean lines without a door mirror

Thanks for the compliments guys, nothing done visually other than the wheels at the moment, although the guys at our Greenodd depot have done a fantastic job with the stuff you can't see, desperate to get it out on the road again now!

Pictures of the new wheel centre caps.

Apart from the new wheels, I've got a new/refurbished fuel tank and upgraded the brakes on the front to wilwood superlite 4-pots

Dave those look very similar to the ones that I have on my current wolfies and they dont fit, I'll go measure the whole this lunchtime and see what size I need, cheers.

I recall having to do a mod to all of mine, just needed a couple of cms trimming on the end so that when you push it through from the rear it sits flush with the back of the wheel.

I guess that willwood conversions would not have been around in Spike 's day?
I guess thats one advantage of having a Sh**y piece of C**p 2+2!
No one gives a Sh** what you do to it.:D

S'pose Andy, I could have used the half ton Range Rover Classic four pots, but they just weigh so much more it seemed more sensible to use slightly more modern technology :D
