Thank you - though the Rover was a fast, powerful car that was extremely comfortable!
The Volvo ticks all the classic car boxes for me - and (though you may laugh in disbelief) I intend to keep this one!
I had to look long and hard to find one and there are very few around now.
It is a 1968, four speed manual with overdrive and I have already covered nearly 5,000 miles in it during the five months I have owned it!
It is nothing like as quick as the Z - but this car is more about style than speed. And I still have my GT86 if I fancy flying around!
Personally I don't like the ES (that's the estate) version. To me it is the beautiful curves, lines and fins that make this car - and that is largely lost on the estate which is why they fetch less than half the money.
Anyway, here are a couple of pictures of it for those who are interested.
By the way, delighted that Tim is looking after my 260Z so well - it looked fantastic and is a real credit to him.
