Thanks for updating us about the new Updates, as it were, Jonathan.

The most interesting thing for me is that we have seen, for the first time, a published Register ( or at least, Spike's version of the ) genuine Samuri Registration numbers.

Might stir up a few arguments......and I might suggest that there's one missing..........

and I might agree...

It seems to me that a lot of the info has gone from the site if I remember there was a list of sams together with photos of them on it

It must be being updated as we speak Steve, last night when I was looking the list of reg numbers and photos was there I am certain.... But it's not there now.

This is an interesting line
Therefore any performance vehicle carrying the Samuri trade mark that was not sanctioned by Spike is in fact not a Samuri and cannot legally use that name.

Didnt Spike "sell" Samuri and then move to Spain

I have searched the copyright librarys but can't seem to find any referance to any exclusivity, maybe someone has more info

So we are now going to have sam number 76 and sam number 77
Emm wonder how that works as not sure about samuri logo and the companies that produced sams

Are any Sams produced after Spike left these shores not really Sams as,
Since Samuri was founded by Spike Anderson the Samuri logo has been his personal trade mark and this trade mark is still valid to this day. Therefore any performance vehicle carrying the Samuri trade mark that was not sanctioned by Spike is in fact not a Samuri and cannot legally use that name.
,
even though Samuri Conversions I believe was carried on trading by Kevin and Ross

Why knock the Samuri name ? back in the day a Samuri was the Z to have (hence everyone asking Z owners if their std Z was a Samuri) , Spike is like so many of us he loved 240's since the day he first got in one the only difference being he decided to modify his from day one (day one in Spike's case it was a new car) Back in the day it was his knowledge that enabled him to create such a machine because there where no later models to transplant parts from (its so easy for you guys these days) It is not Spike who has trashed the Samuri name its people that claimed sams where sams when they are not. I made the mistake of buying CHL instead of FFA a few years back if I had bought FFA it would still be in the garage now as it is the only original Samuri worth owning bar Big Sam. So now personally have decided to build my own car Spike's way but using some of the parts that are available across the world 38 years later !!!!!!!!! Spike Aderson is a legend  reading Spike's book & comments from my long time Z friends made me realise how similar all us true enthusiasts are.

We don't need to rake this up again do we ? William does own the name thats how 75,76&77 are being built :driving:.

Not raking anything up just a member asked me about two letters that were printed and I scanned them in as requested

Also Is it also part of the samuri story or not or should it be just disregarded
