Simply Japanese August 2nd

So it's all sorted? Just clarifying you don't need any further (or any) assistance.

No self sufficient thanks. I can park the trailer in the car park and drive the car round. I aim to be there 830ish. If you could save me a space where you are parking up if you are parking as a group then I will find you. Cheers ben

Not a problem we can sort that out.

Entrance is slightly earlier than last year at 9am. If you wish to travel the last few miles in convoy like previous years. The rally point is as follows, please be there at 8 with the intention to be leaving around half past to quarter too.

Tesco Applemore
Sizer Way
Dibden
Southampton
Hampshire
SO45 5JA

This was a brilliant event last year - and the good thing about Beaulieu, is that there's something for everybody.....

.....Bring along your wife, children, mistress, whoever....:rofl:

You have the car show itself, then the motor museum, the abbey, the gardens.... Last year there was a great falconry show in the grounds too.

I'm looking forward to this one again and hope to see you there!!

Richard:thumbs:

Keen to attend also as I have got my car (280zx) on the road now! :)

Are we mostly paying online or at the gate? Just curious about how the group meeting at the Tesco at Applemore have done it to help with driving in together etc..

Il add you guys to the list.

The venue have a preference to have clubs turn up in convoy as this makes marshalling easier etc for them. It's not 100% necessary, there is an appointed meeting point that's available in the public car park for the event before it's open to the public. I would of explained this before but I've only just had that information today myself.
It's totally up to the individual if they wish to pay online via the Beaulieu website, it's very simple, which has to be completed before July 31st if I remember correctly. This way obviously cuts down on the quing time. However paying in cash is very painless on the gate, last year you simply approached the gate in the car and the marshal took your cash and handed you some papers in you went, few seconds messing about.

Just to give everyone the latest as time is quickly disappearing. Some of this will be a repeat but I'm consolidating for all three clubs.
Payments can be made either here;
https://www.beaulieushop.co.uk/Shop/Events/EventTickets?eventCategoryCode=076
Payments must be finalised this way before 5pm on the 31st of July.
Alternatively payment in cash on the gate, try to bring the correct cash in this case to make life easier and faster.
Adults £10 each
Children £5 each

Arrival has a few options as well. Either you can join the traditional convoy which will be meeting at 8am in mind to leave at 8.30-9.45. This is a public car park that we have used for the past few years for this process, before the supermarket opens so please be sensible and respectful, we don't wish to cause the loss of this. The address is as follows;

Tesco Applemore
Sizer Way
Dibden
Southampton
Hampshire
SO45 5JA
The site(Beaulieu) offers the ability to park in the public car park before the event starts. If you don't wish to partake in the convoy.
Or you can simply turn up, this does include a risk you may not end up parked with the club.

Lastly to avoid confusion, can I request that everyone prints out a piece of A4 paper with "Z Club" written on half of it. I appreciate that not everyone is a Zclub member but this is to avoid last years segregation problem. This is then to be folded in half leaving an A5 sheet to display in the windscreen/sun visor. I will have one or two spare. We are looking at about 40 zed cars so your help is greatly appreciated.

Lastly the address and directions for the event is here;

Just a small note/reminder to add. When you arrive you will be given a piece of paper, this is for the people's choice award. This is what's used to pick the car of the show, well top ten as well. Please make sure you fill this in and vote for your favourite (Z of corse) car at the event. Previous years have seen us have upto 3 cars in the top ten so let's try and get a winner this year!

Count me in stopping in southampton night before will pay at gate

I saw a previous comment that you can bring your mistress along. I wonder if she will incur the standard adult entry fee for Beaulieu or the £10 that we pay as owners entering with a jap car to put on display. Assuming that occupants in the car pay the same as me.

Count me in please, 240z.

Staying in Lyndhurst night before and not sure whether I'll make it to Tesco for 08.00!

Cheers, Nick.

Glad we've picked up some late comers. There should be room for you all. If you could just go back a page a read the last few notes if you haven't already that would be great. The entrance free is per person in the car. Ie if you turn up in a jap car you pay the jap car price, this has been the case for the previous four years. Both myself and my passenger(the wife) paid the £10 fee. She wasn't required to pay full price because she wasn't driving. I don't think they're worried about your relationship status hahaha.

Just a reminder about the A5 display sheet for your windscreen
Also delighted that after a couple of years members from here are starting to attend this as it is a really nice chilled out venue
Have a good time there guys

Well the car is loaded on the trailer ready for an early start in the morning. Sadly the Z is still work in progress in getting it ready for the august gurston so there are some unfinished parts but at least it drives.
See you in the morning sunshine
