Sorry all, just phoned the Cedars regarding breakfast and they are unwilling to do cooked breakfasts before 8 o'clock. They can provide a continental breakfast or packed lunch. Maybe if someone else rings who has stayed previously and can provide an estimate of numbers they might be able to persuade them differently? Any chance there's catering facilities doing breakfast at the track?

Depends how lost you get on route ;)
Nah if I recall correctly it's about 15 mins tops. But then you've also gotta allow for sitting in a line of cars waiting to get in so...……….. :leaving:

It's 25/30 mins according to Google Maps (assuming Burnsie is not in the lead car and keeps his hands in his pocket rather than pointing out of the window at the wrong turning) - otherwise may be closer to an hour for some EXTRA:D

Only the one that went the wrong way and everybody else followed us straight there and I think that one who went the wrong way just wanted to drive on the motorway back to the Crossroads
Have to make allowances for Chris as he is getting near that age where the reactions are a bit slow (runs away and hides)

You could be right but I prefer to think I was the only one with fast enough reactions to make the turning :D
Anyway Squadron Leader Woody has been newly promoted so you can let him do the hard work this time, in Woody we trust !

So breakfast could still be a goer,20 mins to eat breakfast 30 mins to get to the track which means we are there 10 minutes before 9 am

Porky keeps his hands in his pockets at all times when at the bar and Chris Z is well know for running away and hiding when people he knows approach the bar

Speaking from experience of last year at Cedar's, the breakfast wasn't exactly a swift affair, so not ideal if your on a tight travel plan and the chef is on a go slow!

Just curious as to why we would use the east entrance rather than the main entrance. They both go to the same gate but the east one is up a very dusty gravel road. The main entrance take you to the front of the east entrance que. Or have the organisers specifically said that all display cars must use the east entrance to keep the main one clear for general public?

Used the rasr entrance last year to enter the infield via the Esses tunnel. From my recollection the track was tarmac but the queue to get through the tunnel was huge. It would seem as though they are directing all display cars along that route & the public enter via the main entrance as that is where most of the public parking will be.

The entrance is the same as previous years however I think we will turn left through the gate and not go through the tunnel, I'm not 100% certain but I think this is now tarmac also.

And being on site for 9.00am should reduce your queing time too I would expect.

Can anyone help! I basically messed up and forgot to get a ticket for the Sunday at japfest. Don’t quite know how I did this but does anyone have a ticket? Are the transferable? I’m at donnington on Saturday and really don’t want to miss the Sunday as know it will be a good one. Any and all assistance greatly appreciated.
