Thought you'd be pleased about that Paul as we don't have to go under the circuit on the rough track now ;)

One thing I noticed, it says "Gates open at 7:00 each day. Display vehicles for the GP Loop must arrive and be in place no later than 9:00am"

Looks like an early start for most of us !
I noticed on Cedars website that they don't start serving breakfast until 08:00 so may have to give it a pass to get there for 9 unless they're prepared to start serving earlier?

I was planning on a leisurely drive up on Saturday but looks like an early start now. How strict do you think they will be give the usual question to get in? Bit of a bummer about breakfast.

I phoned Cedars las night to enquire if it might be possible to get an earlier breakfast given the numbers attending, I was told by the guy managing the bar that it might be possible but that he wasn't in a position to confirm and to phone back on Monday and speak to the manager during business hours. So it might be possible...

Got my tickets sorted for Sat & Sunday.
Saturday morning Convoy up the M1 again meeting at Watford gap. Who wants to join the train? :280Z: :280Z: :280Z: :280Z: :280Z:

Are we working towards a 7.30am meet then if cars have got to be in the circuit and parked up by 9am and it looks like a 50 min drive to the circuit?

My car's still not up and running but I may pop down as a spectator on the Saturday.

Would be great to meet you all and see some top cars!

Assuming i can get the brakes to play nice in the Datsun, then 7.30 sounds about right for leaving the services, giving us some leway on queueing to get in etc, meet at 7.15 perhaps?

If I'm forced to use the Audi, then rather than sully the Z convoy with a bright red German hatchback like last year! :p I'll probably take a more leisurely approach and arrive at Donnington for a more reasonable 10am or so.

 Lol, if it makes you feel any better then I'll be up at 5.15am!

ANYONE COMING TO WATFORD GAP SERVICES, WE WILL BE LEAVING AT 7.30AM. (This should allow for traffic to get us in before gates close at 9AM)

I am planning on being at the Watford gap services before 7:30. I may not make it so don't wait and I will assume you have all left by 7:30 and drive past to catch up.

Any chance of doing a drive through at Leicester Forest East Services - 8.00am (an easy 30mins from Watford Gap) ?
I will be joining M1 from the M69 so further North.

If I act as squadron leader again this year then I don't see why not, the rest should just follow and say Baaa Baaa Baaa ;)

Access map for the weekend, should you need it. Remember we are on the GP loop this year which is different to our usual location.

Thanks and see you at the weekend.

No not the main entrance but through the gate to the tunnel
Entry for all display vehicles to the display areas is via the Esses Tunnel gate, please
use the East Gate entrance (old museum entrance) to the venue and follow the
signs. As you are parking on the GP Loop you will be directed to turn left immediately before the tunnel entrance as you will not be driving under the track into the infield.

Depends how lost you get on route ;)
Nah if I recall correctly it's about 15 mins tops. But then you've also gotta allow for sitting in a line of cars waiting to get in so...……….. :leaving:
