Proper car for sale at last

Yeah, yeah....

Its dramatic looks owed a considerable amount to a 1960's styling concept drawn by Count Albrecht Goertz for Datsun, presumably at a time when they were considering ways to break into the European sports car market.
This was the first car to carry the 'Samuri' name, a deliberate mis-spelling as the 'samuri' trade name was not available.
This original Super samuri is one of just two 260Zs built by Spike Anderson's Samuri Conversions of Croughton.
it was fully restored from the bare shell up by the well know marque specialist Z-Farm at a cost of over 27,000. Included with the car's documentation and history is a full account of this restoration including invoices and images.
Today, a genuine Super samuri is highly sought after,

So, is it a Samuri or a samuri ?

I read once that it should have been 'samuri ' but was spelt Samuri by mistake? Whatever they're lovely :)

I think Sean's point is that in the blurb, having made it clear that the car was deliberately called a Samuri, they then go on to refer to it as a samuri in several places. Very sloppy.

Ahhhh get ya! Lol it's good stuff this Malbec! :)

Yes, thanks Riddler (their checking is dismal elsewhere too)....and Red7 has a point too - I read the same thing once or twice.

Strange that the engine is the heart of the beast and what made them famous and yet we don't see photos of it.......

Oh hello...so is the "samuri" paint still fresh? I guess to appeal to the masses it had to wear the trademark livery

It's been painted before, which I guess isn't really much of a shock for a car that's over 40 years old, are there many (Datsun or otherwise) that haven't..?

This is a clip from 2010 when it first reappeared

Ok thanks.

I do like the sum-up phrase :

"..........and this is a wonderful opportunity to own a car so perfectly reminiscent of the seventies when men had long hair, flared trousers, and drove rorty, bright, 'look at me', Japanese sports cars."
