Allegedly made by this company. They look big if its true, so I wouldn't be surprised if they are the source of all these panels: https://www.carbody.com/

But who initiated the production, provided samples/IP and paid for prototyping?

Welcome to the murky world of AliBaba's back-door-of-the-factory shopfront. There are plenty of factories using the internet and social media to encourage punters to 'cUt Out thE miDDleMan' these days.

Pyrrhic victories ahead.

Oh aye, it's murky indeed. That's why I started my statement with "Allegedly" :)

It will be fascinating if someone is brave enough to buy some though!

minimum order of 10 so will need to be a group buy. I saw $400 per bonnet but assume shipping will not be cheap!

PROTUNER used them recently( They're in
Canada )very fast though expensive delivery on intake manifold -no duty paid which helped
TORQUEN don't bother, ordered wheel stud took 3 weeks and when complained it was my fault for having a niche car
And it was wrong!

Seen this so many times over the years , 'they' really don't give a shit about IP's , I know people who payed for wheel tooling and within a few months they are for sale cheaper 'elsewhere' with the names just ground off from the inner spokes , same with a lot of other parts to,

Getting your parts manufactured over there for cheap doesn't always work out best

Anyone managed to fit panels from Resurrected Classics and got some finished pics? Looking at buying the 280Z hatch and front wings.
Been using KFVintage for my panels so far.

Do you have a link to any of those complaints?

I was starting to be tempted by this type of thread: https://www.classiczcars.com/forums...impress-with-new-fenders-hatches-and-bumpers/

The trouble is KFV don't do whole panels as far as I can see (happy to be corrected).
RC reached out to me to pitch their full hatch rather than using the new inner frame repair patch from KFVintage, after they saw a comment of mine in need of one. They did offer reduced shipping to UK for around $350, so it was tempting.

From the research I’ve done, I have only come across this complaint (might be the same as what Robotsan is referring to) https://www.instagram.com/reel/C3xt4DVRogw/?igsh=b2Mzd3B5bXA2NTk0

I reached out to both ResurrectedClassics and the customer who posted about this…

- RC response was: hatch was slightly damaged and RC sent a new one and offered partial refund. Customer didn’t have complaints about fitment. Toughest customer they’ve had.

- Customer: 1st hatch was damaged in shipping, 2nd hatch had a slight ding in it, but fitment was ‘OK’.

So it seems fitment is fine, just that customer was unhappy about the condition the panels were in.

RC also sent some pictures of the fitment of the hatch on a 240Z (attached), but they don’t have more final fitment pictures from customers other than that.

I did read that thread too from ClassicZCars that you’ve posted. Was hoping someone would show their Z with the hatch or any other panels fitted.

I think you’re right about KF full panels, I believe they only have the full rear quarter panels at the moment, which I have ordered from their US site.
Other than that, I’ve not seen any full panels from them yet.

They don't stock them in their Euro depot ?
