C'mon Rob, that's a shocking 'cut and paste' job that!:D

Dale, you noticed then

I didn't do a complete copy as I'm sure you noticed, just a few 'subtle' changes can make all the difference.

May the best man win!

You do realise I finished second bottom last year?! I'm not the best person to be relying on for good predictions.

Uh Oh... McLarens are fast.

Button lapped in 1m 25.854s, Hamilton in 1m 25.986s, the only runners under 1m 26s. But Fernando Alonso got mighty close with 1m 26.001s for Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel was right on his tail for Red Bull with 1m 26.014s. Mark Webber was with his team mate, on 1m 26.283s.

The final runners under 1m 27s were Mercedes’ Michael Schumacher on 1m 26.590s and Ferrari’s Felipe Massa on 1m 26.789s.

Am I too late??

Dale if the race goes the same way as qualifying I'm copying off someone else next time! ;)

Glad Hamilton and Button are competitive.

Barrichello - I just think he lost concentration and wandered across to the left whilst thinking about something else - you get like that when you get older.

Schumacher - I still think he'll struggle this year, young guys are generally quicker.

Kobyashi (Sean's hero) is good fun to watch.

Am *I* too late? :p
I don't care, but I can't really look forward to the f1 season without some kind of stake in the results ;)

Correct :smash:

Quite enjoyed some of the duels. The technical bits introduced to aid overtaking have not made a huge difference but perhaps that's good news.

Not bad for a first race of the season, better than last year!

Great start to the season!
Crap haul of points for me tho'!! :smash:
Did I get the 3 extra points for the closest prediction of the difference between 1st & 2nd?

I don't know if it was because the race was on so early or that it was so boring, but I slept through the second half of the race! I even missed all of the overtaking action :D

Anyway, Mr. Burns top scored and heads the table after race one, so well done Steve. (see the first post for the updated table)

And the prize for having the closest prediction of the gap between first and second place goes to rsj. Rob, PM me your address and I'll post it out to you. It's a Nissan themed prize so how ironic you sold both your Zeds. You don't own an Almera now do you?

So what happened to Arkwright and renatuZ? C'mon fellas, its still anyone's at this early stage. :driving:

Yes indeed, still worth joining in. My prediction was terrible but somehow ended up 3rd!! Get stuck in chaps!!
Well done Rob!
Dave

Sorry Dale I didn't think I had volunteered this year. I had enough trouble remembering 8 names of F1 drivers I will never get 10 without refering to dead people! Rules 3 & 4 are totally out of my depth. Count me out this year unless I get spectator points. BTW I fell asleep again long before you.

Cheers Dale - PM on the way...
Please can I have another 3 points for pole sitter prediction
