That beer tasted so good after it was in. It took 9 hours...Does Erik know you've got his beer?
well deserved. I think 9hrs is good for that, I'd be happy. That beer tasted so good after it was in. It took 9 hours...
As always, it's the small things that take time.well deserved. I think 9hrs is good for that, I'd be happy.
Haha, thats what the service manual said. Was not too bad, my hoist managed to reach, just...Looks like you did the engine and box at the same time, hat off to you for that.
I have to add that I had help by a guy who has done a nut and bolt restoration of his 280z. He just fixed so many small things quickly that I would have had to read up on. I wouldn't have managed this on an afternoon and evening without him. He's a champ!well deserved. I think 9hrs is good for that, I'd be happy.
I'm doing a new ECU harness and power harness for the engine AUX. I have to do that since I'm running the ITBs now and an aftermarket ECU. If I were to strip the whole car I would do new harnesses for everything.Great stuff Peter!
Are you fabricating a whole new harness from scratch? That’s a whole lot of work but something I plan to do. If so, I’ll be interested to see what you do.
Also, is that an air con pump I see (front right looking at the car)?
The AC? Never, love that thingI’d have thought you’d have removed the air con for weight reduction and frictional loses [emoji2] .

Agree, the AC just makes the car much more comfortable to drive and should help lots with moisture inside the car during wet days. The AC? Never, love that thing
Thanks Geoff!Car looks spot on, I like the XK150 DHC, my dad has one as well in red, lovely cars, he has an XK140 as well which he restored back in the 80s so I've been around them for a very long time.
