Could you pass a British citizenship test???

I had to take this ******, (being a colonial git ) :rolleyes: Studied for 3 months and passed it ,, but not by a huge margin :eek: Scary hard test !!! Some of the questions are just so OTT it's ridiculous. :D
 
I got 54%. This test does not show a knowledge of Britain, but a knowledge of statistics.

It would be like asking people to name all the different Z models before they could join the Z Club (a fair question) or asking them what percentage of people who bought a Z in the 1970s bought a 260 2+2 (stupid question). One shows an interest in the cars, the other shows an interest in pointless statistics.

Ridiculous.
 
Bear in mind that this test is created by Channel4, not the immigration service. As such, it will be supporting whatever opinion their programme 'Make Bradford British' is presenting.
 
Of course I had to take the "proper test" Just had a look and no its not the same .
 
ive been rejected..cool can this goverment deport me to spain now?.
also why no football questions.how can you have a british test with no footie questions.pony
 
I got 58% the government can gladly have my citizenship back I can always smuggle myself back on the back of a lorry and get myself a nice council house and benefits :).
On a serious note my girlfriend did the proper citizenship test in around 2005 when she became a British citizen and I remember the revision book she came home with was full of the most irrelevant guff that is suppose to show your worthy of citizenship. Still she passed so now I don't have to hide her under the stairs when immigration officals come knocking on the door :lol:.
