Damn you! I'll give you £600 for it! Think of all the work it'll save you taring the expensive kit off your car already! :D

Do it - but with taste :)

Chosen a colour yet (black?), Wheels (Borranis ?) expose the gearchange gate, bucket seats ? Is this going on a 2 or 2+2 chassis (still remaining a 2 seater replica of course) ?
Engine ?

not so much taste but budget,it has to be red but i might do the next one yellow to match my datsun.
the good thing about the interior is they do not have much,so bucket seats and gearchange gate i can afford.wheels still thinking about that and engine 280z injection for now or carbs if the bonnet will not fit right but i would like a v8 just for the sound.you can not beat it for the money.at the moment it is a case of getting the kit on and then worry about the rest when i get to it.:D

Err Mark - "building" implies in the process of ! You need a car - they're out there (and I don't mean mine) and that's two kits recently bought !
There is still a nice looking GTO replica for sale over here too (with what look like Borrani wheels) for 3000 quid !

I'm not taking the **** but what are you waiting for :) ?

280Z 2 seater or 2+2 chassis ? And Mike, budget has a tendancy to make one seriously compromise.... one sees so many half / badly finished GTO projects !
"Many" is relative of course but in % terms....

it is a 280Z 2 steater and as for the budget,it is one of the joys of doing the 9-5 job that i do (painting cars) is that it will not cost me much to fit my kit and paint it which is usaully the biggest and most expensive part of doing a ferrari replica and it gives me a head start when taking on such a big job which is why some people will fail or just do a bad job.like most things it just requires common sense and some intelligence.

i always say that anyone can paint ,it is just that some people are better at it than others...........

Mark p said "I've seen a set of three ferrari badges on ebay for less than £50... You've just got to keep an eye out for them... watch out for the fakes too..." if you are building a fake Ferrari would a fake badge bother you that much ? Adrian
Hahaha... sorry... by fake I meant not laminated badges, weather proof... if you get the cheapest knock offs they just wash off in the rain.

If you can get real Ferrari badges for £50, then you may as well get em!

This is no mystery car, it is not a shell either - I noted it on this thread at its' earlier price on the 27th May !

Repeat - not taking the Michael but if you're waiting for a car and a kit and they're available RHD ..........???

Right... well I can't see any of that text on your post in the link above...

Do you have a phone number, or even email address?

If you do I'll give you a knock when I go to look at it :) I've got family in Paris, so I'll stay over and catch up with the old crowd :)

I lived in La Rochelle for a year too :)
