240 rear light lenses

Is everyone talking about the lenses only? I get the impression some of the higher figures mentioned are for the whole light assembly?

Too expensive and not necessary to replicate as everyone'll have a pair already - just cut and paste............ !

I had the plastic stips on my current lamps plated and re-chromed here:
Vehicle and General Polishers and Platers. 01462 835847.
I was very happy with the result.

Would like to see some photos of that if you can Roger, I thought re-plating plastic was not easy and the outcome sometimes unreliable??

The strips were copper plated first, then chromes after that. see attached picture.

Mines a 260 so there is the whole surround rather than just the strip, I primed and used that chrome paint finish on it last year which is OK, but if they can re-chrome the whole surround I will get it done.

That's something that's needed on my car, the surround nice and shiny!
