There are 240Zs lurking in the back of garages in Essex waiting to be released again. Call me - I may have a suitable candidate in your price range. Red, reasonably sound and ready for some TLC!

I think you need to get your passport out mate! If you want a Z you've got to be prepared to travel to look, they don't appear on your doorstep. If you go to Cumbria make a weekend of it and view the scenery, B&B's cheap enough. There are not that many Z's for sale nor are there that many people looking for them. go & look, walk away and think about it then go back if you want to. Don't rush, you're spending a lot of money and you are not going to find a perfect one.

if your serious get an inspection done, i did on a gto replica and he was there for 3 hours looking over it, i got a report the next day. the seller wanted £10,500 the report said its worth £ 7,000 taking in mind the repairs needed around the car which i wouldn't of seen. money well spent but only if your really serious about the car you want
Hi,

Who did your inspection for you please? I can't find anyone who will touch a classic car :(

Thanks

The Z market is very specific - the number of potentiel clients who want one is limited also - that's what makes us special ! If you want a known item, buy a 911, if you want a cheap to run, easy to find parts, buy an MG etc, etc

If you want a Z, then travel, visit, see, touch, feel, smell etc as many as you can - I agree with Derek - go up and make a w/e of it ! Essex boys, maybe go and get a Capri !!! :)

If your budget is nearer 8 grand, don't p*** about with one at half that price - it'll cost you much, much more !
