Surprisingly, his Arthur Daley style of selling did rather well for him. £6500 is a good price for that car and he shouldnt be unhappy with that.

in UK you will never find one like this again.
, you can't really disagree with that, just as you will never find another Z like mine or yours... each and every Z is unique, just as each and every person is!

It's maintained with
no expense spared here!
and then later goes on to say...
it needs some minor chassis welding on n/s/f
.

Good luck to the bloke who bought it, its a nice Z. To the Seller, stop crying!!

Cheers,

Judging by the front top of that rocker cover I believe that's either an oil leak or from a can of WD40 to add some

back into the ol girl lol

Note that there is more discrepencies now also..

Q: Hi. Didn't this sell once?
A: It sold to a non-paying timewaster so it's up again at the price the second highest bidder was willing to pay. Thanks
Well if you check the bid history of the failed auction the second highest bidder was willing to pay £6000 and it's now up at £6500, so that's an error.

Good spot! You think he'd just give up after some point and realise its grossly over priced!

Maybe his missus is making him sell it and he thinks by pushing up the price he can keep it ;)

Wow this is an exciting thread, it took me 1/2 hour to read (mostly the ebay ad). I feel slightly embarressed for the seller, does he really believe his car is such i unique peice of motoring history. If he successfully sells this car i'll put mine up for 8K and all the guys with mint resto's, get down to Coy's and get 30K

Just recently I turned down £13k for my car, which i believe to be a very serious offer. But then the guy knows I spent £16.500, and its insured for £21k.

So when you read classic car magazine valuations, take them with a pinch of salt, they really only apply to Crap to average, and average to good cars. Even those who give A! or concourse prices are living in cloud cuckoo land.

The black Z is ok... but many things look, well, kinda wrong on it! Look at how the passenger door fits, or doesn't! Seems to stick out and not look plush...

Again, its over priced.

big gap all the way up would suggest the door only on first catch, just not shut properly, normally the door shuts at the top and where it meets the sill return it is proud if its a poor fitting door...
