Cheers Sean!

Oh, small favour to ask of some people in the UK attending..

Any chance there's some space in a car (without intruding on your driving entertainment etc) that you could take some of our camping gear back to the UK (assuming you live near M25/M1/Yorkshire)?

We're having space issues packing!!!

Sean laughed at me when I took my roof rack (or inflatable doll as he called it!).

I have one of them, but I'm refusing to use it due to continuing on the journey for holiday!

If someone can take stuff back to UK from Le Mans then I may be forced to use it one way!

I though you're listed as living in Hampshire ?

You can leave it with me (but I'm leaving Sunday evening) and I can see about getting it back to the Stroud, Glousc area a little later.

Yep - Robs' doll..........and he hasn't increased his boot space with his Z34 !

No I haven't I reckon my 370Z boot is smaller than a 240Z boot area.

That's one of the problems when camping with a sports car. It's an adventure though.

So chaps is there a 'Communications Blackout' on this event?

I watched terrible coverage by Motors TV and seen a little in Classic Car Weekly, that's it.

It looked like the grids were as full as ever (Spa doesn't get big grids yet) and G Burnett in his Talbot 105 is still the man to beat in Plateau One.

The Schuppan/Attwood 917 was sidelined by a 'novice' getting in the way I think.

Weather - that looked changeable, like here.

Amazing display of exotic stuff , to much to take it all in !!
Parked up on the Datsun France stand during saturday .
Sorry i didnt pop over to introduce myself at the BBQ , got bit messy on our campsite and settled in , DOH .
I thought it was a fantastic event , better than i thought it would be , racing was superb .

I'm on my Presidential Suite balcony (free upgrade in our second Monaco hotel to the 850 Euro a night suite! Seems Datsun's get you more than just admiring looks!!) so in the glorious sunshine I've tried to spot your car.. Difficult if I'm honest as the wine is so tasty....

Anyhow, this is a dark blue Z I snapped around the 10:15 mark..

Only pic I got but if it's yours I can sort the original hi-res for you:

One of our Customers took his Restored 240Z ( a White '73 model with stripes along the top, unfortunately ), and it drove all the way from Yorkshire & back again in convoy with several other Classic buddies.

The 240Z performed faultlessly, started first time, performed superbly, etc., but the Porsche 911 that came with him broke down......

loved that story !
