Entrance tickets, track passes etc should be in the post to me today.

I have no news from the ACO regarding the camping passes.

I might try and be there from Thursday end of afternoon.....please confirm if you still want your tickets in the post as it's gonna be close.

If you're gonna be there, then probably not worth the fear of them being delayed in the post if honest.

If you are not gonna be there, we have no choice I guess but for you to post them. At least gives us a chance of getting in to the campsite!!

Happy to drop you a few more Euros if you need for speedier posting. Just shout.

I'm working like a *uckin' slave this week to get Thursday afternoon and Friday off as it suits me to put up and decorate our stand Thursday afternoon and buy what we need for Friday and the weekend.

I'll be there in a Z too finally.;)

You mean you were gonna beat my dog, pillage my village, rain the full force of hell's fury on my family etc etc if I didn't turn up in a zed, and all the time you weren't certain you'd be in one????

Grrrrr!!! :boxing:

I wasn't gonna beat your dog..........but moving on...err...yes:eek: but it was more a question of a support car or a Z and if so which Z.

All been organised now - I'm towing the Z with the support car (carrying BBQs, gazebos, banners etc, etc) !

Not a 240 though..........;)

Surprise

Upon Nissans' stand and with the inestimable help from the Count and Mr D in France together with Nissan, Club Datsun-France presents the only Nissan KPGC10 Skyline 2000 GT-R in Europe (not a replica) and the only 240Z GrpIV homologated L28 in France and in ZG form.

I hope you will appreciate the privilege of seeing such of 'our' cars on Nissans' stand at Le Mans...........!

They will be displayed alongside two other current Nissan competition cars.:)

The Nissan stand is first on the right in the village after the tunnel from the museum/main entrance.

Still hoping to be at the campsite for Thursday later afternoon/early evening.......... - will know definitively tomorrow.

I've received the tickets.........but not the camping passes.:(

BBQ the Friday and Saturday night.

Food and drink provided, the idea is also to make sandwiches up for the Saturday/Sunday midday meals (saves time and money).
Cool refreshments (hopefully local fresh melon too) available on the stand both days.

If anyone is bringing anything along to 'throw in the pot' - please let me know to avoid duplicating.

I've disposable cups, plates and cutlery but you might want to bring metal cutlery.....

We'll have two gazebos, a petrol generator, fridge and plastic boxes with ice blocks on the campsite and one large gazebo, cool boxes (brings yours too) and a gaz fridge on the stand.

If I've fogotten anything, you're welcome to chirp up and tell !

Post 112 Nick ! Oh and look out for guy-lines.....Friday night is bbq and drinkies - modest contribution accepted or bring your own. And we're having the same Saturday evening too if your mates hate F*rds too !:D

I've gone with the majority vote both here and in France - another 'plus' for bleu nord is the 'possibility' of a little more sleep :) but I doute it !

Bleu nor it is......if for nothing else, just to be different. The cars are so fast at that point (karting nord) coming out of the esses and it's unlit so hard to see much. Shorter foot access to the Ford chicane and upwards where it's all lit (and there are seats for those who've booked 'em).
