Z011 - Billing Aquadrome now booked for 6-8th May

I've finally managed to secure a booking for the field at Billing for Z011 so its time to start getting a list of names together

Anybody who has been to the previous events will know how relaxed and enjoyable this event is. This year's charity is MacMillan cancer research in memory of Ray Cousins who sadly passed away last year. Its the first major event of the year so a good chance to blow the cobwebs off your cars and get out and meet your fellow members :)

I am very sorry to anounce that Z011 has been cancelled. The 300zx-club committee did not take this decision lightly but the lack of confirmed attendees has made it impossible to justify the investment of time and money required.
Apoligies to those who were looking torward to this event, we will do our best to make up for it at our other 2011 events.
 
have today cancelled the event with Billing giving the reason as poor attendance anticipated.

It then became apparent that some members have already booked this event and paid. The person I spoke to was unable to confirm at this time if a refund would be available.

If you are one of these persons then I am told you should contact Billing by phone and they will be able to discuss the situation with you. The number is; 01604 408 181I
 
It's probably worth starting a Z012 thread soon. Confirming an event in Febuary for the following May isn't giving yourself the best chance to drum up numbers.

Both Zedfest and the LakeZ events were organised last September for August and July respectively, nearly a years notice in both cases.

I usually have to plan my entire year the year before, and I can't be the only one?
 
lots of people just turn up dont they,?i never say i will be there just in case im not but im usually there,another Zed event gone for the year,wots this club becoming,armchair drivers,cumon every one get off yer fat arses and make an effort ,im out in my Zed today and tommorrow,wot you lot doing,anyone wanna meet up,
