I’ll have another 23 k to add to wot I’ve got after today when tne Z 4 M coupe goes so money no problem on my part but if it got stupid then I’d go for the 911 I’ve got my eye on,having two Zeds is just being greedy really or I’ve got the blue 240z which is mint for 28k but wrong colour for me

Can’t really say depends on who really wants it,as the guy says it’s not perfect,I spoke to him yesterday and said I probably won’t bid as I've access to a mint 240 for 28 k but not the colour I want but we can’t have everything but compared to some of the rubbish that gets offered in the 20 k Mark it makes it look like a bargain but I think once you get to the 35 + mark your not that far off the 911 territory which is allways going to be a better bet when it comes to investment if that’s your bag + having two Zeds is greedy,I should know I’ve been there ha ha

911's aren't really investment territory anymore, they peaked a few years ago, and were beginning to soften pre-Covid. You won't find a good aircooled 911 for sub-40k, and I think you'd struggle to get one that could be considered an investment (low mileage/restored/low owners etc) for sub-70k. IMO the Z actually would be the better 'investment' as it's still on a fairly positive trajectory.

Time will tell but I’d say both are or could be an investment but then there are other cars that are getting that way

I see that the restoration photos are available on request. I wonder if they put someone off?

I know wot the guy wants, think it went to £30100 or was that wot was needed to put bid in,not me The z 4 m coupe goes this week so no room till that goes and like some have said30 k plus for a Zed is too much but saying that some of the prices of junk we see offered for 20 k plus makes it look a good buy,the U is missing on that one Rob

That bid may have been placed just to check the reserve price and no intension of actually buying it.
