I bought mine through Kiyo (Enari Kiyotaka) he's the US distributor (one guy!) for Watanabe, although I believe JDM legends are now also. Super pleasant experience, very good at emailing back, shipped them through a friend on a US air base to cut down the air freight to almost nothing (to Canada where I now live).

Just bear in mind that anything on the larger size is usually custom ordered. My 16x9 and 16x9.5 were not in stock at the factory, was a good two and a half months before they were cast, machined, anodized and shipped.

On the plus side, came with nice stickers and amusing non-intelligible Japanese leaflets :)

Get the real thing, you won't regret it.

What offset did you go for? Do you have any pics?

I was after 16x10

Just emailed me back

They go max 16x9.5 with et-19

£1610 delivered but I guess there'll be VAT on import

I need to compare that to my 10's

Australia

Means they will sit in 1/2" over the wheels I have now as I have 10" with -19ET

That would mean spacers

I'll find the offsets tonight. They're shod with Falken ZIEX ZE912's - Canadian weather makes R888's somewhat of a death wish on greasy leaves in fall.

Running 245/50/16 and 255/50/16 iirc. I can check tonight.

viper - work out the exchange rates between Otto in Oz and keproject in the states and whatever is cheaper, then go with that? . Kiyo marked mine down significantly to avoid the dreaded UPS/customs charges...

Jesus. two years since I put those wheels on the car. I need to finish the paint off this weekend.

I should add, I don't run spacers of any kind. Stock drums/discs, they fit under the Marugen flares perfectly.

And pray that the goods don't get damaged or go missing whilst in transit forcing you or the seller to make a claim on the declared value:eek::smash:.....

Heh. You make a very fair point! Can't say I'd do it now, but it's an option.

For those who were interested, I'm running 225/50/16 on the front (16x9) and 245/50/16 on the rear (16x9.5). Offsets...I will find!

There is a guy based in Japan on one of the MX5/Miata forums. He is constantly sourcing Japanese parts for people on there and I have been in contact with him in regards to Watanabes in 15x8 ET0 fitment. He recons he can get them for $1400USD. Shipped..... But it seems too cheap to be true?
