Hi, new user, just joined.

Looking for a 240z/260z to import from the US and help/info on the best way to accomplish this.

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post

I have been in contact with SacCyclone and I am now playing the waiting game.

Anyone got any recommendations on reading material? I've ordered a Haynes manual on the 280z already just to cut my teeth on so to speak.

Depending on what Mike brings back, need to brush up my knowledge a bit.

I'm a domestic electrician by trade, I work with my hands a lot. I've got a lot of electrical knowledge of dc and ac systems and my biggest joy is problem solving and fault finding. I'm a bit of a lego fanatic as well, so I can follow instructions easily and do fiddly things.

I've got a little bit of mechanical knowledge but wouldn't say I am brilliant. I am hoping for a 280z that's a good runner that needs a lot of tlc for the interior /exterior work.

I am literally jumping in the deep end but, I know I've got a lot of years of pride and joy I can put into something like this.

As above, take your time and read/absorb as much info as you can from the forum here, try also https://forums.hybridz.org/

Have a look at the websites of the popular parts suppliers to see whats what/available

I just had a gloss over the service manuals, seeing all of the blown up images and specifics is getting me excited to have my own datsun :)
