Well only being converted to the Z life recently I was previously a Ford man and actually long term AVO member where I made looms for RS escorts . Also I was winding down for restoring cars another long story so I wont bore you . I recently bought a lovely a car and looking forward to just driving and talking rubbish . Literally 3 weeks after buying my z car I get a call . No I said . A lass I am now restoring an original GP1 Mexico car matching numbers from France .

At The very least it will keep me healthy .

My good friend sold his Black MK1 RS2000 last year after 30 odd years of ownership,



We used to have a lot of fun around the Welsh mountains on weekends, I do miss our drives out, they were quite evenly matched after they were both upgraded a bit to, I've got a few Fords now to but they are both 50's trucks though

I don't know Rob, I quite like the styling of the mk1 way better than the mk2, I know its not a 2 door coupe like the Z but I think there kinda cool,

Yes I like the Mk1 and it's a car that was sold 'in my day' and of course there are sporty versions however the S30 was designed as a pure sports car. The Escort was a cheap family 'hack' e.g. 1100cc 4 door. It is amazing what following the sporty versions have, Ford did a good job. They are very effective - I know, I used to rally in Minis and Avengers.
